I’ve battled a blizzard and won. Actually, I am in Granger, Indiana but it took me 7 hours to get here from Chicago (100 miles or so).  I could barely see the truck in front of me. Here’s a pic outside my rental car…

Oh and BTW, both my daughters got all A’s and except for one B on their respective report cards. Way to go ladies! I’m proud of you both!

Hodge got me thinking, Where have I been this past year?

• Los Angeles
• And of course the big move to Milton, WA!

Kind of a lame year for traveling and I don’t think 2009 will be much more adventurous. If you could travel to one city, anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

I'm not the biggest fan of college football but while in Indiana we were only 5 minutes from Notre Dame. We drove around the campus and literally walked around the football stadium (hoping to find a way in).

Now I find myself watching the Notre Dame vs. Michigan ST game on a Saturday afternoon.

Funny how proximity changes perspectives.

After landing in Chicago and walking through the gate I ran into Linda and Terrill from The Rock. Ever have one of those moments when you see someone you know but not in the same context you know them from? Great to see you guys again!

I love to travel. I look forward to it but honestly as much as I love it I also hate being away from my family. I'm a wuss when it comes to how much I miss them.

So proud of my daughter Marissa who's learning to play the flute. Man, she's pretty!

Takes after her big sister Cambria and both take after their mother!
