According to my daughter’s Twitter updates there’s a little “teaching” going on at my house while I’m at Starbucks reviewing for my teaching tomorrow…
“I was just informed that i was concieved in lynden WA” – @CambriaHarris
“I just found out I was conceived at my nanny and papa’s house in californa!” – @MarissaAHarris
What? I thought kids were embarrassed when the subject of their parents…
Nevermind!

Seems like I’m updating this blog about once every other century so I thought I’d let this live here for a while.
I quoted my wife on Twitter today and it seems to be getting a lot of traction. Here’s her pearl of wisdom:
“You don’t have to be tough to be strong.”
Let that sink in!

20 years ago, on our honeymoon, we visited the Hilton Waikoloa Resort on the Big Island and literally said to each other, “Wouldn’t it be nice to someday be able to come back here!” Well, that’s exactly what we did. I am a blessed man to have such an awesome woman as my wife! I honestly can’t wait for another 20 years!

I uploaded a few more pictures to my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/scottpharris

You can’t tell from this picture but this is my wife, Michelle, and this trail is much steeper than it looks.
She claims the lower your rear is to the ground the better your chances of not landing on it.

I love to travel. Seeing new places, eating new foods, meeting new people…Love it all.
But I hate leaving home when my family stays behind. My wife, Michelle, is my anchor. She’s strong, witty, and freakin gorgeous. I’d marry her all over again! Miss her…
