I’m a “Yes” Man
What is your default reaction to a “big ask” or request from someone?
Mine is YES. I’ve learned to put a filter on it though. For example, lately I’m saying yes to more big impact stuff and no to things that will drain me emotionally or I’m not skilled or called to do.
I’d rather under-promise and over-deliver than promise the moon and deliver very little or nothing at all.
But I’d rather be a “yes man” than a “no man” any day.
