Cambria & Tacoma School of the Arts

Cambria, my oldest daughter, just received the news that she was accepted into Tacoma School of the Arts.

She had to apply, audition and interview to get accepted. This is especially a big deal because SOTA is a charter school in the Tacoma School District and we are out of district. So her chances we even slimmer because of those accepted, 80% are automatically from within their district.

We are so proud of you Cambria! Way to go!

    You don’t know me personally but I just happened to stumble upon your blog post with a quick google search (thats the beauty of the internet). I to have been accepted to Tacoma School of the Arts and I can really relate with that picture of your daughter!

    I’m typing from all the way over in Massachusetts so this move will be quiet the adventure for me and my family. Anyway, I’m glad I’m not the only exstactic teenager right now! I can’t wait until the summer!
