My Daughter Wants a Monkey

monkeyMarissa (my 11 year old) just announced that she wants a monkey for Christmas. During a robust dialogue about the likelihood that she’s not getting one she said, “yes, some kids have a monkey for a pet.”

I said, “Name one friend who has one!”

She declared, “I need more friends!”
